ARC has negotiated with Standards Australia to provide RTAs with free access to five key refrigeration and air conditioning Standards on its new mobile phone app.
These Standards provide in-depth guidance for the most common types of work undertaken in the refrigeration and air conditioning (RAC) industry, such as specifying, designing and installing RAC equipment, also servicing and repairing and end-of-life decommissioning of this equipment.
Standards included in this set are referenced in Section 135 of the Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas Management Regulations 1995 (Cth). Licensed refrigeration technicians are required to comply with these Standards as part of the terms of their licence.
