Control of refrigerant gases during manufacture, installation, servicing or de-commissioning of motor vehicle air conditioners.
This code of practice provides for minimum standards for operation, servicing and repair procedures of motor vehicle air conditioners (MVAC) and includes procedures for recovery and recycling of refrigerants to control emissions of refrigerant gases. Technicians must comply with the requirements of the Regulations, this code, the instructions and service manuals provided by equipment manufacturers.
