A new video produced for the Summer Campaign by ARC and the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) highlights the valuable contribution Australia’s licensed refrigeration and air conditioning (RAC) technicians make in maintaining appliances and helping consumers manage the cost of living.

At ARC, we believe that keeping appliances running efficiently is key to reducing household expenses. That’s why this new consumer video emphasises the importance of using licensed technicians for appliance maintenance, ultimately helping to lower energy costs.

ARC Chief Executive Officer Glenn Evans emphasised the importance of proper appliance maintenance in reducing household costs and energy consumption.

“Regular servicing by licensed technicians not only keeps appliances running efficiently but also helps consumers save on their cost of living,” he said.

“This video is designed to highlight the crucial role that licensed refrigeration and air conditioning technicians play in extending the lifespan of appliances, lowering energy use, and ultimately reducing costs for households.”

“It also serves as an important reminder that choosing a licensed technician ensures compliance with industry standards, promoting both energy efficiency and environmental responsibility.”

This video highlights maintenance works by skilled RAC technicians that can service your appliances, thereby extending the life of your appliances, reducing energy consumption, and ultimately saving consumers money. It’s part of ARC’s commitment to offering valuable resources that make a difference both in the industry and in people’s everyday lives.
