Superior Air Conditioning (NSW) technician Mitch Stevens always wanted to undertake a trade but wasn’t sure which one. He decided to try refrigeration and air conditioning for a few weeks. “I fell in love with my job and have never looked back,” Mitch said.
“I enjoy all aspects of my job; it covers so much, there is a lot to learn.” Mitch said the most challenging part of the job is organising how the air conditioning system will be installed on larger job sites. “This is because there are different trades involved and various stages of the job to organise,” he said.
Mitch is keen to complete Cert III in Electrotechnology to eventually reach his goal of being a service technician and to eventually become a supervisor.
