FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Learn about licensing at Wire & Gas
The Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC) will have a major presence at Wire & Gas 2024 in Brisbane to explain the latest developments in the ARCtick licensing scheme as it applies to the automotive sector.
Wire & Gas will be presented by VASA (Automotive Air Conditioning, Electrical and Cooling Technicians of Australasia) from 23-25 August at its new venue at the Westin Brisbane.
ARC General Manager Compliance and Training, Rod Cumming will deliver a seminar on the Sunday explaining the ARC audit process, including the new Environmental Stewardship Excellence Award.
The new award is presented to Refrigerant Trading Authorisation (RTA) holders who contribute to maintaining professional and environmental standards in a highly regulated industry by being found fully compliant on first audit by ARC field officers from 01 July 2024.
Mr Cumming will also outline the plan for field officers to visit all new RTAs for a permit condition check in the first year of their permit, and the new automated licence renewal process introduced recently to save time on renewal applications.
ARC will have a stand at Wire & Gas where technicians and business owners can ask the sort of questions they might not otherwise ask more formally.
